Learn Fresh is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing innovative STEAM learning experiences that empower educators and inspire students. Through community, play, and rigorous exploration, we leverage students’ passion for sports and entertainment to inspire their STEM and social-emotional learning. By bringing students’ genuine interests into the classroom, Learn Fresh programs foster a lifelong enthusiasm for learning. NBA Math Hoops, our flagship program, has engaged over 350,000 students across the US through a comprehensive community program, digital and physical board game, mobile app, and curriculum that allow students to learn fundamental math and social-emotional skills through the game of basketball and the NBA and WNBA brands. Since its founding, the program has explicitly focused on achieving equitable representation across the STEM pipeline for girls, students of color, and those living in low-income communities.
