Assistant Athletic Director – Annual Giving

Job Summary

Job Summary: The Assistant Director aids in executing the goals set by the Director of Athletics for annual giving, special initiatives, and Club membership.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Identifying, soliciting, and cultivating prospects for annual giving for athletics
• Developing new sources for fund raising and revenue
• Growing the membership in the Champions Circle to maintain minimum membership levels
• Developingand assessing a list of potential donors
• Working in a coordinated and collaborative effort with University Development Staff regarding identification, stewardship and proposal development
• Supervising the gift acknowledgement procedures for all athletic department gifts
• Maintaining proficiency in use of donor and ticketing systems
• Meeting weekly, monthly and annual contact goals as established by the Director of Athletics

Qualifications: 

• Completion of a Bachelors' degree
• Experience in development and fundraising 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Completion of a Masters' Degree or advanced degree
• Proven fundraising experience in intercollegiate athletics
