Job Summary
The NFL Team are seeking a full-time digital analyst to track and analyze the team’s multi-platform content efforts through both scheduled and ad hoc reports. These reports will assist in driving continuous improvement and optimization for the team’s overall digital and content strategy. This position will also provide support for other areas of the organization, including but not limited to Business Analytics, Corporate Partnerships & Activation and Marketing departments. The Digital Analyst will report to the Manager, Digital Media.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Produce regular (daily, weekly, monthly, annual) reports that track digital and social traffic
- Track data across the team’s Owned & Operated and social platforms for the purposes of reporting and formulating recommendations on ways to improve based on these results
- Gather and track KPI goals, as assigned
- Work with the NFL and other relevant third parties to organize the regular flow of digital and social analytics
- Collect and analyze mobile app data from push notifications and segmented content
- Adjust/optimize existing reporting formats
- Gather raw data from a variety of analytics platforms and create presentable reports in Excel, PowerPoint and PDF formats
- Package and communicate analytical findings and develop presentations as requested
- Develop analytics tracking strategy and implementation documentation for clients and internal departments
- Work closely with our Corporate Partnerships & Activation team to provide metrics and/or analytics to support goals and objectives
- Assist with other duties as necessary
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Experience with digital analytics tools including Tableau, Google Analytics, Omniture, DFP, etc.
- Excellent working knowledge of digital platforms including websites, mobile sites, mobile apps, social media
- Ability to work fast under pressure of deadlines and to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Acute attention to detail and accuracy in data
- Willingness to work on routine data reporting tasks
- Polite, positive, self-starter who works well with others in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelors Degree in the field of Math, Statistics, Economics, Business, Marketing, or related and appropriate majors
- Interested applicants must be willing and able to work non-traditional hours in non-traditional settings, including nights, weekends and holidays
