New Business Development Representative

Job Summary

• Selling MLB Team full season tickets, partial season packages, group tickets and suites


• Meet and exceed sales goals set forth by the team


• Provide excellent customer service at all points in time


• Perform well in a team environment supporting the success of others


• Will be required to make no less than 55 calls per day and hold two appointments per week


• Recruiting of new business with emphasis on networking and cold calling


• Significant emphasis placed on self-generated lead acquisition


• Must organize leads/prospects for weekly reporting


• Accurately track sales activity and sales progress through SalesForce


• Visit clients on game days


• Participate at events such as the Season Ticket Holder Picnic, Fan Fest and trade shows


• Other duties as assigned

• MUST HAVE PASSION FOR SALES AND STRONG WORK ETHIC  


• Experience in ticket, group, season, suite or sponsorship sales preferred


• College degree required


• Excellent customer service and computer skills


• Strong listening skills with a the ability to establish and maintain business relationships


• Professional communication skills, both written and verbal


• Must possess a high level of energy


• Must be a motivated self-starter


• Time management skills are crucial


• Must be able to work evening and weekends as required
