Assistant Director of Strength and Conditioning

Job Summary

Position Summary:

• The Director of Strength and Conditioning reports to the Senior Associate Director of Athletics.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for creating, implementing, and administering a comprehensive strength and conditioning program
• Responsible for the daily operation of the weight training facility
• Schedules maintenance and purchase of equipment
• Coordinates of student-athlete rehabilitation programs and travel for football team and staff for road games
• Supervises strength staff
• Budget preparation and oversight of administrative duties
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Knowledge of University and NCAA rules and procedures
• Proficiency in written and oral communication
• Interact with a diverse set of coaches and support staff, as well as the business community
