Job Summary

• Support store operations in the absence of store management


• Be a Brand Ambassador by representing the Club positively


• Support the Rider Way Fan Experience and coach store associates in opportunities


• Provide regular feedback to store associates on daily game plan results and discuss success and opportunities


• Communicate with all levels of Saskatchewan Roughrider employees in a positive and professional manner


• Provide regular and timely training, coaching, and feedback to all store associates


• Communicate and make available information to store associates regarding Rider Club initiatives to support the fan/customer experience


• Support online sales through customer fulfillment from alternate store stock


• Respond and resolve customer concerns to support the customer experience


• Ensure daily deposits and cash-outs and internal reporting standards are met and communicate discrepancies to management


• Support and uphold all Saskatchewan Roughrider policies and guidelines, including Occupational Health and Safety standards and guidelines


• Responsible for opening/closing of the store and cashing out/preparing deposits


• Assist with prevention of theft/loss and maintaining a low year-end shrink result


• Miscellaneous duties as assigned

• 1-2 years related retail experience in a high service environment


• Ability to work independently and seek positive solutions to problems that may arise


• Ability to communicate to diverse groups of people and both internal and external customers


• Demonstrated motivational abilities in staff motivation, team building and effective training techniques


• Demonstrated aptitude for change and innovation in a fast paced environment with frequent changes in priorities 


• Demonstrated professionalism when responding to staff and customer concerns


• Experience with creating daily deposits and cash handling procedures


• Independent thinking style that demonstrates a willingness to contribute ideas and suggestions as well as raise issues with management 


• Team oriented style with a “can do” service focus to achieve organizational result


• Availability to work irregular hours and work schedules, including game days
