Job Summary

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform the set-up, tear down, operation, and maintenance of all sports venues, equipment and meeting rooms on the Complex.
  • Conduct periodic inspections outlined in Venues Policies of the sports venues, equipment and meeting rooms and report any concerns to the Venues Management Team.
  • Ensure that meeting rooms, gyms, hallways, etc look presentable and professional at all times.
  • Assure a high level of sanitation and safety is maintained in all areas of the CSOTC Venues.
  • Be willing to learn and demonstrate a working knowledge after six months of venue operations.
  • Create work orders and report maintenance problems via daily shift reports, safety hazards, and equipment repair needs to the Venue Operations Assistant Manager.
  • Exhibit friendly customer service to all users. Enforce all Venues policies, rules, and operating procedures including. Adhere to Game Plan, Core Values, and Goals. Communicate clearly and thoroughly with Venue Teammates via daily shift reports, phone calls, and meetings. Communicate, plan and assist venue teammates with department responsibilities as needed.
  • First responder as needed by way of Red Cross certification in CPR and First Aid in emergency situations at any venue. Will train and pay for CPR and First Aid certification. Second responder to bloodborne pathogen contamination.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned

 Minimum Qualifications Required

Education:

  • High school diploma, vocational training or equivalent experience  

Licensure & Certification:

  • Valid driver’s license
  • Fork lift/pallet jack operator’s license/certification (or ability to get upon hire)
  • CPR and First Aid Certification and Bloodborne Pathogens Certification (or ability to get upon hire)

Experience:

  • Experience or willingness to learn about athletic equipment set-up, dismantling, and movement, including national and international specifications
  • Experience or willingness to learn about computer operation

Skills:

  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, including weekends, evenings and holidays
  • Ability to travel, as required
