Job Summary


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs administrative and clerical duties for the Director of Athletics and Department
  • Maintains a positive, highly efficient, organized, and professional demeanor
  • Maintains the master Athletics Calendar for all competitions; confirming accuracy of all activities and meetings
  • Attends department meetings and takes minutes
  • Composes weekly athletic schedule for electronic distribution to select members of school community
  • Answers phone and handles inquiries from parents, students, faculty and staff as appropriate
  • Organizes office area for efficiency, safety and appearance
  • Maintains department website and building photo display areas
  • Confirms weekly game and referee schedule
  • Provides administrative support on other projects as required
  • Assists in athletics event organization
  • Reconcile monthly credit card reports
  • Meets required deadlines for rosters, schedules, referee payments, etc.
  • Ability to navigate and manage School Dude programs in relation to athletics and be able to    generate necessary rosters, schedules, and information for coaches, teams, and administration
  • Assist teams, coaches and administration with travel arrangements including local and out of town transportation, including bus, hotel, car, and flight reservations;
  • Perform other school duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure with deadlines
  • High School Diploma or GED, college degree preferred
  • Skilled communicator, both on the phone and in person
  • Proven attention to details and superior organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Social Media (Twitter/Instagram) and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Prior administrative experience desired. School or non-profit background preferred
