Coach of Dance Team

Job Summary

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Recruit, instruct, and coach the student-athletes on the Dance Team
• Plan and administer the operations of the Dance Team program
• Select and evaluate part-time and volunteer Assistant Coaches
• Advise and guide the dancers into proper dance routines
• Determine individual and team strengths
• Develop strategies to maximize performance
• Ensure the appropriate safety precautions in practice, games, and travel

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Previous experience coaching a dance team
• Extensive knowledge of dance routines and safety measures
• Previous experience in ballet, jazz, hip hop, pom, funk, and modern dance
