Job Summary

 

Job responsibilities will include:
  • Works directly with Channel Managers and Altitude Operations Groups to prepare media for a variety of purposes including; international delivery, linear distribution and streaming.
  • Responsible for coordinating the archive and retrieval of OSG assets via asset management system.
  • Verifies that all programs and materials meet or exceed technical and content standards
  • Provides Quality Control and trimming of media as neede
  • Support network channel origination by facilitating the processing, transcoding and delivery of content and signals to house format.
  • Works with Outdoor Sports Group and Channel Managers to plan and satisfy material delivery
  • Enters program segment timing specifics into database and archives digital copies
  • Tracks Closed Captioning orders for the QC team and organize archives
  • Backs up and works in the ingest department when necessary
  • Works on and completes various projects within the operations group
  • Effective communication skills with all departments, staff and clients in order to communicate potential, real and or related issues, concerns or problems with content processing, reception and delivery. 


About You
Our ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Three to Five years relevant experience in television and/or media management
  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software programs; Word and Excel preferred
  • Broadcast specific computers and systems for:  FTP, transcoding, CC, recording, routing and monitoring.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Familiarity with content delivery methods and systems including FTP, Aspera, Extreme Reach, Vantage, Signiant, AWS, Fiber and Satellite.
  • Familiarity with media management systems; Crispin (Assetbase), WideOrbit, BroadView, PostMAM
  • The ideal candidate is a highly organized and detail oriented individual
