Job Summary

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead internal building security, understand and proactively address security concerns, needs, and issues. Oversee contracted In-House Security, including in-house security for the Center Training Facility. Manage these groups to ensure an effectively operating team environment while developing team dynamics and morale to maximize productivity, team member retention, & effectiveness. Schedule to ensure proper staffing levels.
  • Provide leadership during events by serving as Event Security General Supervisor and/or as the Event Safety Director during selected events. These roles will require this position to: 
  • Ensure necessary preparations for safe and secure events by conducting pre-event advance work and risk assessment, establishing security plan and staffing levels, and effectively execute plan by leading team. 
  • Provide leadership to entire event team. 
  • Supervise event police, security, and first aid staff, coordinate and ensure adequate staffing, 
  • Provide policy oversight 
  • Ensure services are delivered efficiently while providing law enforcement and first aid services that are professional, high quality, and meet or exceed accepted standards. 


 QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Four year college degree preferred.5 – 10 years of law enforcement, public safety, arena or private security management experience
  • Preference given to those with experience in security management in the public assembly or sports and entertainment fields.
