Job Summary
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assist head athletic trainer and training staff in daily operations of program, athletic training room supervision, team coverage, administering first aid, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of student athletes
- Ordering and inventory of all supplies, community involvement, and monitoring the academic progress of the student athletic trainers.
- All responsibilities will be assigned by the head athletic trainer including adherence to all rules and regulations of the University, the Lone Star Conference, and the NCAA.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Candidate must have a bachelor's degree and a willingness to learn the entire operations of running a college athletic training program.
- Candidate must have an outgoing personality with the desire to enter the sports medicine field as a career after obtaining a Master's Degree.
- Perfer candidate to be NATA BOC certified or eligible.
