Job Summary

Essential Functions:

• Organizing and conducting the extensive recruitment of highly motivated and passionate student-athletes.

• Effectively communicate and collaborate with admissions and financial aid departments to ensure steady growth and seamless transition through the recruitment process of prospective student-athletes
• Plan and organize constructive practices in preparation for game schedule
• Supervise student-athletes’ academic, personal and athletic development
• Promote strong leadership and sportsmanship
• Assist in all gameday management
• Perform other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree required with administrative and coaching experience.
• Demonstrate commitment to NEWCRC guidelines and regulations.
• Thorough knowledge of rules governing the sport of Rugby

• Understanding of and commitment to the NEWCRC’s primary purpose of maintaining intercollegiate athletics as an integral part of the educational program and the athlete as an integral part of the student body

• Must possess strong verbal, oral and written skills.
• Must be fiscally responsible and be able to work within a budget.

• Strong commitment to and the ability to work within a team-orientated and goal-driven department.
• Ability to recruit qualified student-athletes.
