Digital Media Coordinator

Job Summary

Seeking a Digital Media Coordinator who, under general direction, is a creative thinker with a passion for visual storytelling who can captivate audiences and promote Athletics through animation, video, photography, creative design and original content writing. Will serve as primary creative strategist and work in collaboration with the Art Director and Media Relations team to develop high level content to promote sports and enhance initiatives. 

Essential Duties

• Promote content through the social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest
• Develop compelling social content in coordination with design, marketing, editorial and video team members
• Manage and onboard interns on Adobe Creative Cloud best practices, photography and the brand toolkit.
• Participate in new content development including idea creation, research and concepts to help reach organizational goals
• Produce web assets for thesundevils.com and sundevilclub.com
• Assist with design and template creation for email marketing efforts through the Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Research and maintain industry best practices with fellow #SMSport designers to help increase SDA efficiency (Ex. Artboards, smart objects, actions in photoshop)

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field and three (3) years of experience in the program of assignment; OR, Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

• Experience with Non-Linear editing systems.
• Working Environment

• Work is performed in an environmentally controlled setting subject to extended periods of time sitting, keyboarding and manipulating a computer mouse; will stand for varying lengths of time; will walk moderate distances for meetings
• Activities will require ability to change priorities
