Job Summary

Overview

The Director is a member of the Information Technology team who will be responsible for setting up and managing the Technology Project Management Office. This is a new role within the organization as we work to create efficiencies, maintain project standards and improve project visibility across the enterprise. The Director will work to establish methodologies and processes that work best for our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Define a PMO strategy and apply the appropriate methodologies to projects spanning across the business

  • Develop standards and deploy tools to drive and facilitate the successful delivery of projects

  • Creates and maintains project plans that communicate tasks, milestone dates, resources, budget tracking and project status

  • Manage project communication to the organization and project stakeholders

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

  • Perform risk management to identify and communicate project risks

  • Provides a central repository for all technology projects and project information

  • Develop 3 year roadmap to scale the Project Management Office

  • Able to manage day-to-day operational and tactical aspects: setting up and running team meetings such as stand up, project kick-offs meetings, backlog grooming, sprint retrospective, etc.

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, information systems, or related field

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Technology project management

  • Certified Scrum Master qualification from reputed organization - PMI ACP preferred / CSM / PMP

  • Expertise of Project Management techniques and tools

  • Previous experience delivering several challenging projects or programs

 

Required Skills


  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team environment

  • 3 or more years working experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies

  • Working experience with 2 or more project management methodologies in addition to Scrum

  • Diplomacy and influence skills, conflict management skills

  • Excellent follow up skills

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision

  • High level of commitment to quality work product and organizational ethics, integrity and compliance

  • Experience working on digital products across web, mobile and connected TV platforms
