Job Summary

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • Gather relevant information for and execute Club Ticketing conference calls.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of Ticketing Workshops, other league meetings, and any relevant industry conferences with respect to Ticketing sales/service content.
  • Manage existing Ticketing communication processes and monitor new trends in Ticketing sales/service areas.
  • Serve as main point of contact for Club Ticketing departments and focus on Ticketing related topics/best practices on annual Club visits.
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with Club Ticketing personnel, including Group and Inside sales, while working to optimize the Clubs’ respective Ticketing businesses.
  • Liaise with vendors and use industry knowledge and outside research to provide Clubs with guidance on broader sports business/Ticketing trends.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
 
  • The ideal candidate will have, at a minimum, a degree from a four-year college or university and at least 5 years of work experience in a similar role.  Experience interacting with 3rd party vendors and ticket sales or service experience at a professional sports team is required. 
  • Experience with various ticketing systems (e.g., Ticketmaster/Archtics, etc.) preferred. 
  • The ideal candidate must have advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills; working knowledge of Tableau a plus. 
  • Candidate must be creative and able to synthesize succinct findings from large quantities of information, have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through as well as strong written and verbal communication skills with competencies in planning and project management. 
  • Must have the ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and professionalism and use independent discretion when sharing information. 
  • Must have the ability to travel (both domestic and international) periodically for business purposes. 
  • Must be able to work long hours as department workflow necessitates.
