Group Sales Account Executive

Job Summary


Responsibilities 

  • Generate revenue by planning, selling and executing group sales initiatives and experiences (race & non-race days)

  • Identify new group sales opportunities by prospecting regional businesses, current and past clients, partners & vendors

  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new group accounts

  • Effectively communicate and organize additional revenue streams including, but including camping, pre-race track passes, fan scanners, parking and additional race day add-ons

  • Meet or exceed annual sales goals 

  • Set and complete appointments with prospective buyers at track and out of office (expectation 5-10 appointments per week) 

  • Pursue new sales opportunities through use of referrals, prospecting, and networking (i.e. luncheons, business shows, conventions, etc.) 

  • Control daily effort and attitude 

  • Take detailed notes and records of sales engagement through online tracking system 

  • Provide exemplary customer service

  • Understand the importance on finding solutions for your clients

  • Clearly determine and communicate value to individuals

  • Ability to work in a fast paced competitive environment

  • Strong organizational, time management, problem solving, multi-tasking and communication skills 

  • Quality presentation skills

  • Coachable 

  • Possess a relentless work ethic 

  • Demonstrates strong leadership characteristics 

  • Desire to succeed in a revenue generating role 

  • Skilled communicating over the phone, email, text messaging, and in person  

 
Experience/Education Requirements 

  • College degree from an accredited college or university preferred

  • Previous group (1-2 years) and outbound ticket sales experience preferred

  • Salesforce and Ticketmaster Archtics experience preferred 

  • Sports business background preferred
