Job Summary

 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Talent Management (70%)

  • Oversee the staffing process by partnering with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, and to create compliant job descriptions; provide recruitment counsel and guidance to hiring managers through employment data, metrics, and best practices

  • In partnership with the Talent Acquisition Manager, Arena/Facilities Operations collaborate on the overall strategy for consistency in the Talent Acquisition function across the organization

  • Enhance the recruitment process through the development of innovative, creative, and proactive recruiting strategies to meet the business needs of each assigned department

  • Promote diversity in the workplace and ensure recruiting strategies attract diverse candidates

  • Ensure candidates’ and hiring managers’ overall experience is world-class plus

  • Assist with providing tactical leadership, management, and mentorship to the People Operations Team 

  • Manage recruiting and onboarding activities and direct the workflow of the Recruiting staff (if applicable)

 

Employee Engagement (20%)

  • Assist with development, planning, and execution of new innovative strategies to enhance employee engagement through programs and events 

  • Assist with development, planning, and execution of bi-annual Mercer Employee Survey and analyze results to identify ways to strengthen employee engagement and reduce turnover

  • Assist with the development, planning, and execution of new innovative rewards and recognition programs to recognize, reward and retain our employees

  • Special Projects as needed

Employee Relations & HR Administration (10%)

  • Provide Employee Relations guidance to managers and staff, conduct investigations if necessary

  • Conduct exit interviews for full-time and part-time office staff and analyze trends 

  • Develop an exit interview process for all full-time and part-time staff, analyze trends in the organization and make recommendations

  • Utilize ABI/Workday analytics to identify trends and projections of workforce 

  • Special projects and other duties as assigned
