Job Summary

• Collaborate with internal teams to develop a digital content strategy


• Communicate via social channels in an informative and enthusiastic manner


• Execute monthly content calendar requirements across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram


• Manage the Festival website


• Attend and cover all  press related events (scrums, conferences, briefings)


• Develop engagement strategies to fuel excitement 


• File organization and meta tagging of photos and video
  
   

• 2-3 years of post-secondary study towards communication, journalism, sports management or a sports related degree  


• Proficient in communication, with a specific understanding of how to write/communicate on various social platforms. Knowledge of CP Style conventions is a plus.


• Experience working with WordPress and other CMS platforms.


• Detail oriented with great time management skills to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities


• Ability to produce high-quality work while managing multiple projects under tight deadlines


• Ability to analyze social media data and organize into actionable information


• Up to date with culture and content (sports, music, movies), and emerging industry trends

• Availability to work irregular hours including game days


• Experience in using Adobe Creative Cloud (editing, resizing, exporting)
