Ticket Sales/Box Office Operations Intern

Job Summary

Internship Overview:

• To learn all aspects of the Ticket Sales Department under the mentorship of the Front Office. Intern will also gain knowledge in other departments while working under the mentorship of those departmental managers.
• To learn about season and group ticket sales practices, as it relates to each individual ticket sales consultant.
• To train and gain exposure to the ticketing system.
• To learn about general ticket sales practices and box office management working alongside the full-time ticket personnel 
• To learn about event and facility management by training with the front office to oversee the game day operations of hospitality areas.
• Interact and partner with other departments in the organization to fully understand how they function in relation to the Ticket Sales Department as well as the entire organization.
• Interns will also assist with various aspects of operating our ballpark, assisting and gaining exposure to facility events like concerts, high school and college baseball games and pulling tarp, etc.

 Internship Requirements:

• Must be a College or University Junior or Senior within at least 3 semesters of graduation.
• Must be pursuing a degree in a related field of study.
• Must need an internship for academic credit.
• Due to the nature of the internship, it is preferred that no coursework is taken while participating in internship. But not required.
• Must be available to participate full-time, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Non-event days are generally M-F 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Event days, the day generally begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends after the event.
• Must be available no later than April 15th until approximately early September.
