Job Summary
Responsibilities
- A Graduate Assistant (GA) is an academic appointment and individual must be enrolled in either a MBA (2-year only) or M.Ed. program.
- The graduate assistantship includes full graduate tuition and university fees (except graduation fees), a monthly stipend, and a meal allowance. Housing and instructional materials like textbooks, eBooks, online memberships, not included.
- Responsibilities will include assisting the head and associate head coach with all areas of the volleyball program including coaching, recruiting, fundraising, scheduling, academic monitoring and other duties related to the sport of volleyball as assigned by the head or associate head coach.
Qualifications
- The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree (minimum 3.0 GPA), previous college volleyball playing experience, and acceptance (or ability to) into the University program.
- Candidates must have an understanding of the mission of the University, strong communication skills, and proven commitment to students-athletes and hard work.
- Travel is necessary with a valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to successfully pass a background check also required.
