Job Summary

 

 

 
Essential Functions

  • Manage and develop concepts and budgets for all aspects of games and assigned special events. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; contract negotiation, operations, production, staffing, broadcasting services, media services, catering, décor, rehearsals, and overall event management through final settlement and reconciliation. 

  • Serve as the primary contact to the team, the NFL and assigned stadium events. Act as the primary liaison in providing and determining their needs to be able to successfully execute the events and accomplish client and venue goals.

  • Directly supervise one or more Event Coordinators as well as all third-party employees.

  • Compile and communicate all event requirements to various internal departments at the Stadium. Direct and delegate necessary responsibilities within the venue’s departments. 

  • Prepare and distribute detailed production notes for each event and schedule production meetings with the venue’s department heads (including but not limited to operations, security, food & beverage, and event services). 

  • Manage event expenses and keep within budgetary parameters. Prepare event estimates and review event costs and invoices for settlement. 

  • Compile staffing expenses and numbers database for building tenants and any other clients. 

  • Work with other event managers on large production events.

 
Required Qualifications

  • A minimum education level of: BA/BS Degree (4-year) in Sports/Event Management, Production Management, Business or related

  • A minimum of 7-10 years of related work experience in sporting events game management and production

  • Must be extremely organized and detail oriented, resourceful, quick learner and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).

  • Exceptional guest and client service capabilities. 

  • Must be able to operate under extreme deadlines and within budget.

 
Preferred Qualifications (if applicable):
  • Previous experience at a high-profile venue strongly preferred
