Job Summary
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in the strategic development of international, national, and regional/local marketing campaigns
- Develop and execute membership acquisition and retention plans alongside Brand Director and content team, incl. project managing paid and organic media campaigns.
- Aid in the execution and fulfillment of various marketing programs including but not limited to: on-site activations, consumer marketing, digital media, contracts, invoices, content curation and distribution, graphic and public relations requests
- Support product team in producing and distributing weekly/monthly and campaign-based reporting
- Manage e-mail marketing program including strategy, audience & database management, creative development, A/B testing, html coding, and performance reports
- Assist in the implementation of marketing activities. Functions include creation of collateral pieces, shipments to partners and follow up to ensure proper execution
- Receive, analyze and report the tracking of various marketing activities such as status updates on in-market promotional activities
- Assist in the creation of partner proposals and reports
Qualifications:
- Understanding or capacity to gain an understanding of the western sports landscape
- Strong creative, strategic, analytical, and organizational skills
- Experience in developing and executing strategic marketing plans and campaigns
- Exceptional oral and written communications skills
- Extensive experience/knowledge of Microsoft Windows Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Extensive experience/knowledge of E-mail Marketing platforms (e.g., Adobe Campaign, Campaign Monitor, etc.) a huge plus
- Basic experience/knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite a plus
- Ability to manage multiple projects with varying priority at one time – to deliver results on time and within budget
- Previous marketing and project management experience beneficial
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Exceptional verbal and written presentation and communication skills
Education & Formal Training:
- At least 2 years’ experience in marketing, media, journalism, communication or public relations at either a professional sports team or entertainment field
- Bachelor’s degree – Communication, Public Relations, Marketing and or Business preferred
Working Conditions:
- Regular office hours Monday-Friday, with frequent weekend work in support of live events
- Travel up to 20% of the time
