Job Summary

• How to work with daily cash deposits, cash receipts, and resolving cash receipt discrepancies


• How the Accounts Payable department operates


• How the Financial Planning & Analysis department operates


• How to perform general accounting functions


• How to perform account reconciliations


• How to gather information to compile monthly financials


• How the month end close process functions


• How to research support documentation


• How different departments operate throughout the organization

• Pursuing, or just received, a degree in Accounting or Finance


• Able to think outside the box and bring new ideas to the table


• Enjoy working as part of a team


• Possess strong oral and written communication skills and attention to detail


• Can work well with all levels of management


• Possess proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Term: Summer 2020, May - August
