Job Summary
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintains an understanding of rules, particularly those that pertain directly to the SS&M Department.
- Implements medically related rules and tournament standards on site.
- Maintains an understanding of the Professional Development Department and the Age Eligibility Rule.
- Participates in annual rules and procedures reviews, facilitate implementation of all Sport Sciences & Medicine Programs and athlete care needs
Skills & Background:
- NATA certified Athletic Trainer (or equivalent of country of residence with license) and Physical Therapist
- Minimum 3 years experience in sports medicine, with at least 2 years experience working with elite athletes
- Active member of related professional association
- Travel to 10-15 tournaments, domestic and international destinations
- Excellent people skills and interpersonal relations
- Good communication and active listening skills
- Computer skills with internet, email, spreadsheets, power point and word processing programs
- Thorough knowledge of tennis
- Team player
- Multi-task oriented; good organizational skills
- Effective problem-solving and decision making skills
- Adaptive/flexible in a changing work environment
- Multilingual preferred
