Primary Health Care Provider (PHCP)

Job Summary

• Maintains an understanding of rules, particularly those that pertain directly to the SS&M Department.
• Implements medically related rules and tournament standards on site.
• Maintains an understanding of the Professional Development Department and the Age Eligibility Rule.
• Participates in annual rules and procedures reviews, facilitate implementation of all Sport Sciences & Medicine Programs and athlete care needs 

• NATA certified Athletic Trainer (or equivalent of country of residence with license) and Physical Therapist


• Minimum 3 years experience in sports medicine, with at least 2 years experience working with elite athletes


• Active member of related professional association


• Travel to 10-15 tournaments, domestic and international destinations


• Excellent people skills and interpersonal relations


• Good communication and active listening skills 


• Computer skills with internet, email, spreadsheets, power point and word processing programs


• Thorough knowledge of tennis


• Team player


• Multi-task oriented; good organizational skills


• Effective problem-solving and decision making skills


• Adaptive/flexible in a changing work environment


• Multilingual preferred
