Translator

Job Summary

• Translate between Korean and English for player and coach interviews, game discussions, and management interviews


• Instruct Korean team members with English lessons to improve both in-game and out of-game communication


• Work directly with players and coaches on a day-to-day basis in order to develop their confidence in their English conversation skills


• Refer to existing translation documents for Overwatch game knowledge and expand and improve existing strategy terminology glossaries


• Assist with marketing content translations and global marketing strategies


• Provide language assistance to Korean team members that may need help navigating more complicated English situations


• Foster and uphold the Fusion culture—a combination of different cultures as one unified team

• Fluency in English and Korean


• Ability to live in Philadelphia and travel with team to road games


• Have a good understanding of Overwatch League and the community


• Strong written and verbal communication


• Attention to detail


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
