Communications/PR Internship (Remote)

Job Summary

• Assist in day-to-day media relations, including pitching stories ideas for local and national media outlets


• Create written content on a regular basis, including feature stories, previews and recaps. 


• Maintain and archive all media coverage of the Club on a weekly basis. 


• Other duties and projects as assigned
  
   

• Applicants must be able to receive college credit for internship and pursuing a degree in communications, journalism, public relations or other related field


• Practice a professional attitude when working with outside sources


• Team player willing to work with all departments of staff


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to work independently and remain organized


• Ability to communicate both orally and written 


• Attention to detail is a must


• Working knowledge of AP Style Guidelines
