Physical Therapist

Job Summary

• Develop and provide treatment and reconditioning services to athletes
• Develop and carry out post-operative plans of care with Team Physician, Head Athletic Trainer, and Rehabilitation Coordinator
• Accurately document treatments, evaluations, and objective measures in electronic medical record, as well as maintain its accuracy 
• Assisting with on field and transition rehab programs
• Provide taping, bracing, and orthotic use for the prevention and treatment of injuries
• Perform other athletic training room duties assigned by Head Athletic Trainer that may include inventory and scheduling with other providers
• Cover team practices and games
• Maintain continuing education to explore new techniques and modalities, as well as evaluate their efficiency in regards to the care of the team 
• Assist in the education and professional development of interns
• Additional duties as assigned

• Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy required
• Minimum of 2-years of experience in professional or NCAA D-1 Sports (Football preferred) required
• Certified Athletic Trainer required
• CSCS or strength training experience preferred
• Strong experience administering a wide range of physical therapy interventions including manual therapy skills, exercise prescription, and modalities 
• Able to quickly evaluate multiple qualitative and quantitative data inputs to make treatment adjustments
• Comfortable working in high-pressure situations with strict deadlines
• Exceptional communication skills within a team environment
• Passion for sport and human performance is essential
