Head Coach for Women's Basketball, NCAA

Job Summary

Summary:

The Head Women’s Basketball Coach reports to the Director of Athletics and is a full-time 12-month position.

The candidate is expected to have an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of administering a college basketball program in accordance with NCAA and OAC regulations.

We are committed to the Division III vision of enabling the academic and career success of our student athletes and the ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in accelerating the academic performance and matriculation of student athletes, excellent leadership both in recruitment and retention of student athletes, and a solid performance record.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s degree and college coaching experience is preferred.
• Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: travel, budget management, scheduling, fundraising, oversight of assistant graduate assistant coaches, and public relations.
• The position will also involve secondary administrative and physical education responsibilities within the department.
