Athletic Director and PE/Health Teacher

Job Summary

This is a full-time, 12-month position beginning July 1, 2020. Responsibilities include scheduling and oversight of all Middle School teams, Health teaching, and PE for Prekindergarten-5th grade.

Candidates should possess a strong academic background, exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to connect meaningfully with students. In addition, successful candidates will possess the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred
• Experience coaching middle school athletics (specifically, field hockey, soccer, ice hockey and/or lacrosse) and supervising a coaching staff
• The desire and ability to serve as an advisor and contribute to the life of the School outside the classroom
• Teaching and coaching at least two seasons (hockey and lacrosse) are a crucial part of this job
• Manage and facilitate major sporting events of the school including tournaments and Field Day
