Head Coach for Women's Soccer, NCAA

Job Summary

Duties include:

• Establishing coaching strategies and teaching methods to develop student athlete’s skills and teamwork.
• Planning, organizing and coaching the University men’s soccer team.
• Preparing women’s soccer student-athletes in the analyses of opposing teams and plans strategies accordingly.
• Instructing women’s soccer student-athletes in game management
• Preparing student-athletes physically and mentally by instructing proper strength and conditioning
• Instructing student-athletes in sportsmanship and ethical behavior
• Monitoring and supporting student-athlete academic progress
• Counseling team members in disciplinary, academic, and personal matters while consulting with LETU administration on matters requiring resolution of problems
• Providing ongoing team-building activities
• Developing mental toughness in student-athletes
• Developing the spiritual, academic and athletic aspects of student-athletes

Secondary duties include:

• Directing, coordinating, and supervising the women’s soccer staff
• Ensuring compliance with the University, Conference and NCAA policies and regulations
• Recruiting and retaining highly skilled student-athletes consistent with the LETU philosophy and standards
• Meeting annual recruiting goals 
• Determining fiscal requirements and budgetary recommendations while monitoring, verifying and reconciling expenditures of budgeted funds
• Coordinating the scheduling, planning and management of contests with the Director of Athletics
• Creating and providing documents, reports and information required for program and department functions
• Participation in department and team fundraising
• Coordination of and working with student-athletes to provide service opportunities on campus and in the community
• Performing other duties as requested by the Director of Athletics
