Equipment Services Assistant, Department of Athletics

Job Summary

Essential Functions:

Major Tasks and Responsibilities

• Assisting with practice each day
• Helping with laundry operations
• Helping prepare and pack for games
• Helping prepare and ordering of apparel and equipment
• Working with ACS Front Rush inventory system (training provided)
• Helping with recruiting visits

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Bachelor's degree required with some experience in a football environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. (Experience as an undergraduate will be considered.)

Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• General knowledge of an intercollegiate football organization. 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. 
• Ability to understand, follow and enforce safety procedures. 
• Ability to demonstrate effective communication skills both oral and written.
