Assistant Coach, Women's Soccer

Job Summary

Position Highlights

This is a fulltime, benefits eligible position whose function is to assist the head coach in all facets of coaching a Division I women's soccer program. Incumbent will perform on-field coaching, recruiting and liaison with department support services.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Work cooperatively and provide positive energy as a member of the staff
• Recruit qualified student-athletes
• Perform individual, team, large and small group on-field coaching
• Coordinate and perform alumni and community relations
• Perform video analysis and opponent scouting
• Assist with team travel and academic monitoring of student-athletes
• Work closely with the compliance office to assure the program follows University, Pac-12 Conference and NCAA regulations
• Additional duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• Coaching experience at the college or club level
• Experience and knowledge of NCAA rules
• Commitment to academic and athletic success
• Strong leadership, organizational and administrative skills
• Sound written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work nights and weekends as necessary
• Possess a working knowledge of Pac-12 rules
• Ability to problem solve and make decisions
• Ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions
• Dedication and motivation to initiate, lead and support value-added projects
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Self-motivated, results-oriented, and has a positive demeanor
