Assistant Soccer Coach for Women's

Job Summary

Among the key duties of this position are the following:

• Assists the Head Coach in coordinating the women's soccer program.
• Assists the Head Coach in developing annual goals for the program and in developing and implementing strategic and tactical plans to achieve a high level of success in practices and competitions.
• Consults with the Head Coach in resolving situations when team discipline and/or academic issues arise.
• May be responsible for analyzing individual and team women's soccer statistics, techniques etc during recruiting trips, practices and competitions and for reporting results to other members of the coaching staff and the team as necessary.

Minimum Education and Experience

• Requires a Bachelor's degree.
• Requires a minimum of one year relevant experience, good communication and interpersonal skills, and computer literacy.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school or collegiate soccer coaching and playing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Big Ten Conference and NCAA regulations preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Must be able to use a computer, email, editing equipment and recruiting database software.
