Assistant Coach, Men's Lacrosse

Job Summary

These will include sustained performance and execution in the following areas:

• Adherence to the Head Coach's philosophy of athletic instruction/coaching


• Program operations and administration as designated by Head Coach


• Oversight of all administrative operations regarding student-athlete development


• Execution of all scouting, film preparation, and competition preparation


• Video breakdown and the use of use of appropriate video-editing software


• Coordination and oversight over film exchange program per conference policies


• Development of scouting reports


• Exercises independent judgement regarding recruitment of prospective student-athletes in the attraction and evaluation of prospective student athletes


• Developing and maintaining relationships with prospective student athletes and other recruiting constituents


• Maintain personal compliance with all governing bodies NCAA specific conference athletic department university policies


• Successful completion of annual NCAA recruiting exam


• Attendance at all required compliance educational meetings


• Successful on-time completion of all recruiting logs


• Maintain professional relationships with key internal and external stakeholders


• Accountable for student-athlete welfare while coaching and exhibit role modeling behaviors and leadership for student-athletes

Professional Experience/ Qualifications

• Passionate about the game of Lacrosse


• Strong commitment to the academic success of student-athletes


• Good communication and technology skills


• Requires an adaptive and collaborative approach to changing work environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience coaching Men's Lacrosse is preferred

Education

• Bachelor's degree is required
