Strength & Conditioning Internship

Job Summary

The purpose of this experience is to augment formal classroom instruction, to experiment with theory and concepts, to utilize practical applications, and to begin the development of professional competency. 

ESSENTIAL FUCTIONS :

Strength & Conditioning Interns are responsible for all duties related to the administration of this program as assigned by the director of strength and conditioning. 

Specific responsibilities include:

• Assistance with exercise technique analysis
• Maintenance of facilities and equipment
• Set-up and break-down of equipment for training sessions
• Maintaining and organizing training records and equipment inventory
• Entering data for individual workouts and testing results
• Recording of student-athlete attendance
• Support of multi-sport participation for student-athletes
• Promotion of balanced achievement in all areas of school life for student-athletes
