Job Summary
Job Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the post-production multi-camera editing of our weekly national broadcast television show(s), documentaries, series, and promotional content
- Produces feature material for live events, shows, and specials
- Maintains budget oversight at all times
- Researches and produces background information for relevant feature content
- Manage international and digital shows
- Develop s fresh and creative approach to every new feature/project
- Ownership and overall responsibility from conception to delivery of all assignments
- Complete assigned projects on time and within budget
- Keep current with All Elite Wrestling’s programs, talent, storylines and products
- Continually be a leader with innovative, creative marketing ideas that will extend the brand on all platforms
- Utilize superior writing skills and present multiple concepts for each assignment
- Communicate concepts to graphics designers and supervise execution
- Handle multiple projects at one time and meet strict deadlines
- Manage and build relationships inside and outside the department
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of work experience
- 5 years of experience with Avid editing, writing and producing for a broadcast or cable television network, a production house, or an ad agency
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Explorer) along with Avid Media Composer, Canon 7D & 5D and MediaSilo
- Experience in sports/entertainment broadcasting and interest in professional wrestling
- Superior writing skills and advanced sense of storytelling
- Understanding of all phases of pre-production, production and post-production management
- Demonstrated time management, communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task, creatively problem-solve and work well under pressure
- Strong visual sense
- Adobe after-effects knowledge
- Ability to work in live television environment under short time constraints
- Ability to work flexible schedules including odd hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience managing and directing talent and coordinating shoots
- Must possess a state-of-the-art, post-production skill set and techniques
- Brainstorm and conceptualize independently
