Job Summary

This position includes the following responsibilities: Act as our lead sales member and oversees our student outbound sales team that solicits new ticket sales including season tickets, group tickets, and partial ticket plans. Creates, manages and tracks all sales databases and effectively utilizes that data to tactically target ticket buyers for future sales.

Develops sales call scripts and researches potential ticket buyers to target. Effectively trains and communicates to all student staff the customer services skills necessary for all sales calls. Strategically researches market trends to determine effective pricing for both sin gle game tickets and season tickets across all ticket selling sports.

Collaborates with Marketing team to determine effective promotional ticket nights to maximize attendance and revenue. Develops and proposes the annual ticket revenue budget for our 5 primary ticket selling sports by examining past attendance´s, evaluating the current product, analyzing competing local events and researching market trends in the collegiate ticketing industry. Manages all aspects of the financial affairs and reporting for the Ticket Operations to include single game reports, annual reports, processing all deposits and ensures appropriate accounting Monitors and approves daily sales reports and expenses submitted to the b usiness office; ensures accuracy.

Coordinates all ticket related functions on a daily basis including in-event sales, will call, player-guest tickets, recruiting will call and VIP ticket distribution. Manages all ticket aspects of the Arena contract by deciding how complimentary ticket allotments are disbursed and how to strategically attract future customers with remaining tickets. Leads and manages 10-15 or more student employees and interns to sell tickets, answer phone calls, create and send mailings, and work all athletic events. Develops and manages Ticket Office and Events budgets to ensure department has budgeted appropriately for all event staffing and ticket office needs.

Assist with Fund membership benefits as it relates to gamedays; including hospitality, parking, credentials and other VIP related items. Assist with fundraising events. Work with Director of Development to ensure timely communication with Fund members and donors relating to athletic events and tickets.
