Job Summary

 

The Stadium Events Manager will play an intricate role in the execution and success of all stadium and event initiatives. This role will exemplify the goals & objectives relative to stadium events coordination, event operation, stadium sales and the guest & client experience. 

 
Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for planning, coordinating, and facilitating the logistics of full stadium events
  • Direct, train and oversee the performance of the Stadium Event Coordinators who are responsible for Special Event Operations and Client Services
  • Oversee event specifics with all internal departments and vendors, clearly communicating the clients’ objectives and planning details regarding schedules, recommended staffing, equipment rentals, etc. 

  • Create and distribute event documents for all departments regarding operational needs and ensure that all requirements of the event are met
  • Implement facility regulations, policies and procedures for all areas of assigned events

  • Organize, facilitate, and conduct production meetings with clients, vendors, internal departments, law enforcement agencies, and municipal partners to communicate goals and objectives of assigned events

  • Oversee all production, set up, staffing and event-related contracted services for assigned events

 
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree 

  • Minimum of 3 years of related work experience in large scale events, preferably in a sports & entertainment venue

  • Knowledge of sports and entertainment event management and operations

  • Previous supervisory experience of event staff
  • Available to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed

  • Proficient in MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel); ability to learn AutoCAD

  • Exceptional guest and client service capabilities

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills, commitment and dedication to job duties, promptness and timeliness
