Group Sales and Marketing Coordinator

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be creative in their sales plan while also exhibiting exceptional customer service skills with the goal of growing revenue for the venue. 

Essential Functions:

• Establish all event sales goals 
• Create new packages and themes for upcoming events to drive additional revenue
• Work with promoters and Director of Marketing to develop group sales plans and budgets for each event
• Handle in-bound group sales calls
• Make outbound cold calls to new potential partners
• Assist in maintaining media, press and promoter contact lists
• Assist with media buys, promotions, and invoicing for events
• Assist with organizing photos and other graphics as needed
• Assist with creating email blast copy and “Know Before You Go” communication
• Assist in developing sales materials with marketing team
• Assist in maintaining the marketing closet
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
