Job Summary

Teaches swim lessons for children and adults. Enforces all policies and regulations; and participates in regular in-service training.

Must have a current American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor and American Red Cross Fundamentals of Instructor Training (FIT) certification.

Skills:

Must be able to swim 50 yards each of the following strokes: front, crawl, back crawl, breast stroke, side stroke, elementary back stroke, and butterfly.
Must be comfortable teaching and responding to questions regarding the American Red Cross Learn to Swim Program.
Must be able to respond in an emergency at any time.
