Event Usher (Temporary)

Job Summary

The Event Ushers provide comprehensive guest services support for the Athletic Department, University, and external events held on the campus with a focus on safety, operational effectiveness, and hospitality. The Usher Program seeks to set the industry standard for guest services.

Qualifications:

Must understand and adhere to established University policies and procedures and have a neat and professional appearance.

Must possess a pleasant disposition and strive for excellent customer service.

Great interpersonal skills are critical, must be able to stand for long periods of time, be able to lift, reach and bend.

Can do outdoor work during inclement weather.

Must be able to read and decipher small print on tickets and must be able to think on their feet.
