Lifeguard

Job Summary

A lifeguard for Campus Recreation monitors pool activities and ensures member safety by knowledge of rescue procedures and emergency medical procedures to help prevent incidents. They also perform additional duties, such as preparing activity and incident reports and pool maintenance as needed.

Qualifications:

1. Current Red Cross or YMCA Lifeguard certification, to include CPR Professional Rescuer.
2. Self-motivation.
3. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
4. Willingness and availability to attend at least two in-service trainings per year.
