Info Tech Support Specialist

Job Summary

This position assists users with the installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and support of information technology hardware and software. Serves as a resource person and first point of contact within the organizational unit for resolving most computer hardware and software issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High school diploma or equivalent, with 4 years of experience in related positions; Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology, information Technology, or a related discipline preferred.
2. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
3. Knowledge and experience with computer hardware, software configuration, troubleshooting, networking, and peripheral support.
