Job Summary
The Equipment Room Manager is responsible for providing quality customer service to students, faculty, staff, and external clients as well as providing equipment room and ice rink services for students and athletes in all aspects of an intercollegiate athletics program. This position will supervise the equipment room staff.
Qualifications
Associate Degree and a minimum of 1 year of experience in an athletics setting or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Basic knowledge of equipment and supplies used in competitive sports.
Knowledge and training to properly fit football athletes with helmets and shoulder pads.
Ability to manage conflict situations in a calm and professional manner.
Basic knowledge of seasonal, game-day equipment, field, and surface preparations.
