Job Summary
The role requires strong decision-making, interpersonal, and organizational skills, as well as compliance with relevant regulations and codes of ethics. The assistant athletic trainer will also assist in coordinating medical coverage for practices and events and perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training; Master's degree preferred.
Experience with a variety of sports.
CPR/AED Certification for Health Care Professionals/First Responders.
Current License to Practice as an Athletic Trainer in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
NATA Membership.
