Minor League Athletic Trainer

The Pittsburgh Pirates are seeking a Full-Time Certified Athletic Trainer for our Bradenton, Florida and our Academy in the Dominican Republic. The trainer will operate as a member of a multi-disciplinary team that consists of athletic trainers, strength and conditioning coaches, mental conditioning coaches, physical therapists, and uniformed coaches in both rehabilitative and preventative assessment, diagnosis, documentation, medical care, and treatment of movement function and overall physical functional abilities in order to maximize the physical health and performance of our athletes. This training position will require work year round, including Spring Training, Season, Fall Instructional League, and various times though out the off season.

Required:

• Athletic Trainer Certification.
• Minimum 2 year post graduate experience in a sports setting.
• Minimum 1 year experience working with overhead athletes.

Desired:

• Proficient in Spanish.
• Prior baseball experience.
