Title: Community Ambassador Coordinator (Internship position)
Reports To: Manager of Community Ambassador
Expectations:
Looking for a passionate and hands-on individual to assist with the implementation and management of community programming across Chicagoland and the Midwest.
As a Community Ambassador Coordinator Intern, you will focus on building strong and lasting relationships within communities, providing wider opportunities for children and adults to interact with the Chicago Fire Soccer Club.
In this position, an internwill have the opportunity to gain valuable experience working in a dynamic team environment, supporting the execution of the club's professional, youth soccer outreach initiatives and act as a brand ambassador for the Chicago Fire Soccer Club within the community.
Responsibilities:
- Support the execution and management of all programming including marketing, communication, staffing, equipment and invoicing
- Community coaching to support the club's outreach initiatives
- Assist with gameday activation at Toyota Park
- Support other departments through assisting with club events and programming
- To be a brand ambassador for the Chicago Fire Soccer Club
Qualifications:
- Internship must be for college credit
- Ability to work in a team/collaborative work environment is required along with strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical and planning skills
- Valid driver's license and own transportation
- Experience working within the soccer and/or sport industry is preferred

- Accountable for actions/decisions and does not make excuses
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Believe and commit to the company's culture and goals
- Willingness to coach youth players
Notes:
- Ability to work flexible hours (including evenings and weekends)

Intern will receive:
o Business mileage expenses
o USSF coaching certification (based on meeting pre-agreed criteria)
