Expectations: We are looking for a smart, driven and reliableindividual to join our team as a Corporate Partnership intern in order to assist us in providingthe highest level of service to all of our Partners. As an Intern with the Chicago Fire Soccer Club, you will aid the club in continuing to strive to be a premier club on and off of the pitch, you will play a large role in the achievement of this goal by executing projects and by being a part of the day to day activities of the Club. We are seeking interns that will take steps on their own to grow and hone their craft. As an Intern you will be expected to give maximum effort every day you come to work.
Responsibilities:
Assist Partnership Marketing Account Executives with delivering superior Activation: coordinate/execute all partnership elements/assets for each assigned partner. This includes but is not limited to (1) game-day activation and events at Toyota Park, and (2) non-game day events and promotions, including but not limited to clinics, tournaments, player appearances, special promotions, and sweepstakes execution, and (3) partner-related hospitality activities. May require local travel and nontraditional hours.
Assist with Corporate Partnership department projects, including, but not limited to: pre-season action plans, post-season recaps, department events, premium item coordination, tracking social media promotions, organizing matchday and event photos.
Research activation concepts for partners as needed.
Support Fire operations necessary to execute partner activation plans.
Regularly support Corporate Sales team with communications and ideas/solutions for assigned partners and future partners.
Regularly provide Research/Market Awareness to keep up-to-date with current partner news
Coordinate any sponsor-related projects as assigned by Director of Partnership Marketing or Vice President of Corporate Partnerships.
Qualifications:
Must be eligible to receive course credit for Internship
Students should be pursuing a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Marketing, Business Administration, Information technology, Communications, Sports management or any related field
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Willingness to learn in a fast paced environment
Ability to work flexible hours, including but not limited to evenings, weekends and holidays
Strong computer proficiency MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
