Description



Life Time is currently seeking a Facility Operations Specialist todrive success in our OperationsDepartment.



As a Facility Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination and management of the Operations team. Organizes team members and departments to complete projects and ensure the club facilities are clean, safe, and operating efficiently, while maintaining and repairing fitness equipment and all building related support systems.



Responsibilities

Maintains indoor and outdoor club cleanliness and safety
Ensures projects and tasks do not interfere with members' use of the club
Ensures equipment on the fitness floor is working properly
Ensures there are no unsafe conditions on the fitness floor resulting from broken equipment
Maintains the building, pools, electrical work, heating and cooling components and grounds
Repairs basic plumbing, electrical systems and hardware
Utilizes the energy management system to properly temper the balance in the building
Maintains the monthly and annual department budget
Manages inventory and labor costs according to budgetary guidelines
Updates purchase orders and establishes timeframes for part delivery
Recruits, hires, trains, schedules and manages Facility Operations team members
Makes hiring, promotion, disciplinary and termination recommendations to the General Manager
Trains team members through standard operating procedures, role playing, shadowing and providing feedback
Ensures policies and regulations are in compliance with OSHA regulations

Qualifications



High School diploma or GED
College degree in business, hospitality or related field preferred
Supervisory experience preferred
Health and Fitness operations experience preferred
Two-three years facility maintenance experience or equivalent training
Aquatic Facilities Operator Certification (AFO) (at applicable locations)
Certified Pool Operator License (CPO) within six months of hire date (at applicable locations)
CPR/AED certification required within the first thirty days after hire date
